 To perform inspection activities for the Pipe Lines, vessels, columns, furnace and Piping of the components in
Refinery plant (in behalf of Raysonic NDT Servies).
 Carried out UT scanning using weld angle probe for flaw detection such as pipe weld and equipment weld.
 Performed Magnetic Particle testing on the fillet welds and bevel edge preparation on pipes.
 Carried out ultrasonic lamination, Ultrasonic Corrosion Monitoring and Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging on
pipes.
 Carried out set up calibration of equipment for relevant method. Interpret and evaluate the result with respect
to applicable codes, standard and specification.
 Carried out NDT method like MT/PT/UT Thickness measurement and prepare final document summary and
filling of reports accordance to client reporting and document system.
 Carried out work involving the inspection of welding of various sized Nozzles and Nodes and pipe using
Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Method, also inspection work involves Ultrasonic scans on the welding
covering the full circumference of various vessels and ultrasonic corrosion survey on pipe-lines

  Performing Magnetic particle inspection testing on weld joints, Pipe joints and pipe bevel edge preparation
and fillet weld by using different methods like wet & dry methods using yoke & prod.
 Performed Dye penetrates inspection testing on vessels, Exchanger, Heat radiant coil, Column and Boiler
component.
 Performed Ultrasonic testing thickness measurement of pipelines lamination check on raw materials.
 Carried out all work by using and following the isometric drawing.
 To ensure inter-run & inter-pass cleanliness and monitor the inter-run & inter-pass, preheat and temperature,
is maintained.
 Witness and review all applicable NDT inspections like MPI, UT, DPI on Sub Contractors.
 Review all NDE reports to identify relevant imperfections and evaluate with acceptance standard
 To give repairs for defects. Ensure availability of approved repair procedure and qualified repair welder, to
attend repair. Witness systematic removal of defect and refilling. Offer for Re-NDT of repair area.
 Reading Scope of Work and Project specifications
 Organize and report the result of NDT which have carried out.
 Finalizing all work with the reporting.
