Dear  Sponsor,    
 
Welcome  aboard  the  M.P.S  Graduate  Sponsor  Ship.    
 
Thank   you   for   making   the   decision   to   sponsor   a   student   in   Kenya   for   their   secondary   education.   In  
2016   fifteen   students   graduated   from   Masinde   Primary   School   and   were   the   first   peer   group   to  
graduate  from   the   school   that   has   only   been  open  since  2011.  In   2017   the   school   has   a   full   class   of   30  
students   graduating.   For   the   majority   of   students   secondary   education   was   not   an   option   that   their  
family  could  afford.  In  effect  many  students  would  follow  a  similar  lifestyle  to  the  generation  before  
them   which   included   working   the   land   and   fulfilling   family   responsibilities   with   little   opportunity   for  
new  or  advanced  skills  and  training.    
 
Your   sponsor   student   has   been   accepted   into   Sirembe   Secondary   School   along   with   their   fellow  
classmates   from   Masinde   Primary   School.   This   is   a   well   respected   boarding   school   with   a   good  
reputation.

Attending   a   secondary   school   changes   the   trajectory   of   a   child’s   future,   especially   when   the   child  
comes  from  a  village  where  the  majority  of  the  generation  before  them  didn’t  attend  or  complete  their  
secondary  schooling.  It  is  due  to  the  difference  that  education  can  make  that  Victorious  wants  to  see  
each  student  sponsored  from  Day  One  to  Graduation.  This  is  a  four  year  commitment  with  graduation  
in  the  year  2021.    
 
I  want  to  do  everything  possible  to  help  you  get  to  know  your  sponsor  student  and  keep  up  to  date  
with  the  progression  of  their  education.
