Venue
Bella Center Copenhagen is among Europe’s leading fair and conference
centers and can host all types of events from banquets to the largest
international conferences and exhibitions. The venue offers a fully unique
central location with a motorway, metro and buses right to the front
door, and just a five-minute drive from an international airport and a
bridge to the rest of Scandinavia. The city center is only 10 minutes away.
Technical Programme
EAGE has included the SPE EUROPEC event to create an extensive,
multidisciplinary technical programme that reflects the scientific research
disciplines within EAGE. Submissions on geology are particularly encour-
aged to extend the focus of the traditionally strong technical programme.

guidelines, the submission process and other relevant information will
be available late July 2017. The call for extended abstracts will open on
1 August 2017.

Workshop Package, Field Trips and Short Courses
The EAGE Annual 2018 will also offer workshops, field trips and short
courses scheduled before (Sunday and Monday) and after the event
(Friday). For the latest information, please check the EAGE website.
Exhibition and Sponsoring
This large exhibition offers a great opportunity to network and allows the
visitor to learn about the latest developments in the field. 350 exhibitors
will occupy around 17,000 m² of gross booth space. Companies interested
in exhibiting can opt for either the booth package or space only. EAGE
Annual 2018 offers excellent sponsoring opportunities to create high

Student Programme
The EAGE Annual 2018 offers an extensive student programme with
activities such as the Laurie Dake Challenge 2018 (formerly known as the
EAGE FIELD Challenge), workshops, a motivational speech, the Geo-Quiz,
the Networking Café and more. Students also have the opportunity to
submit their abstract before 15 January 2018. Students may apply for both
the student and technical programmes but are only able to be selected for
one. Students who have submitted an abstract can apply for a Stu­dent Travel
Grant. Please refer to the EAGE website and EAGE Students on LinkedIn and
Facebook for updates on the EAGE Annual 2018 Student Programme and
other EAGE student activities.
Social Programme
To complement the event, EAGE will organize a social programme that
offers culture, hospitality and gastronomy in original surroundings.
Entertainment for delegates and family members will be part of the
programme, including an icebreaker reception, a spectacular conference
evening and a family members’ tour. Since Copenhagen has a lot to offer,
we will make sure you will not regret coming to this magnificent city.
Accommodation
EAGE has an official hotel booking office for the EAGE Annual 2018. We
have selected a number of hotels and negotiated special accommodation
rates for those attending the 80th EAGE Conference & Exhibition.
