Goals - What are the short-term and long-term goals for our work together as a cohort?

Short Term Goals:


● Goal #1: By October 15th, 100% of cohort members will increase their personal and professional self
awareness
● Goal #2: By October 15th, 100% of cohort members will develop a professional learning plan by reflecting on
our current reality and determining action steps to help us attain our goal of 200 clinical hours
● Goal #3: By October 15th, 100% of cohort members will understand the foundations of systems thinking
● Goal #4: By October 15th, 100% of cohort members will make connections with three leaders and understand
various roles of leadership

Long Term Goals:


● Goal #1: By August of 2019,100% of cohort members will obtain their Iowa Administrative License by
completing all required coursework and a professional portfolio relative to the ISSL standards.
● Goal #2: By August of 2019, 100% of cohort members will have a network of colleagues from diverse districts.
● Goal #3: By August of 2019, 100% of cohort members will have resources that align with and support each
leadership standard.
● Goal #4: By August of 2019, 100% of cohort members will have strategies to work through issues affecting the
educational system.
● Goal #5: By August of 2019, 100% of cohort members will demonstrate proficiency on the professional habits
standards.
