The Strategy, Operations & Procurement (S&OP) Practice aims to hire Quantitative Research Consultant, which is a
managerial position in the FLORS division (Finance, Legal, Operations, and Risk & Strategy). The selected incumbent
will be part of the S&OP Quant team managing researchers addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today’s
senior-most functional executives at leading global corporations. The role provides excellent exposure to a full range
of topics related to the management of strategy, procurement, finance quality, and operations functions, as well as
the opportunity to apply and further develop financial and statistical concepts.
This position is for experienced researchers interested in conducting quantitative research, analysis and reporting
using proprietary benchmarking and survey data. Quantitative team members enjoy exposure to the full array of
data related work: data management and quality; benchmarking and norming surveys; quant modeling; quantitative
insight generation and some exposure to advanced data management tools and techniques focused on peeling apart
ideas in search of insight.
You will lead a team of 4 to 5 quantitative researchers responsible for conducting surveys, collecting and analyzing
data, creating data-based reports for clients, and generating data-based insights. The content you and your team
creates will serve the needs of CXO’s and their teams operating globally.
Qualifications:
MBA or a Postgraduate Degree from a recognized premier Institute in disciplines with a strong analytics
component, including Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics
Proficiency with statistical concepts and in at least one statistical software package (R, Stata, SPSS, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience at a leading survey based research or consulting firm or as a practitioner
who has played significant role in finance, operations or procurement
At least 18 months managerial experience with direct or indirect supervision responsibilities
Experience working with survey based data including management of surveys, benchmarking data and or
panel surveys, conducting quantitative analysis, managing benchmarking surveys
Should have experience leading short term and long term projects and ability to manage the work of junior
staff on project teams

Should have strong project management experience demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
Ability to distill quantitative and qualitative data into important, relevant ''so what's'' for a CXO-level
audience
Self-starter, capable of taking the initiative and managing own pieces of work
Strong ability and orientation towards meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects under time
pressure
Original and creative thinking and superior problem solving abilities
People management skills – Managing teams in a matrix reporting environment
Good oral and written communication skills a must for this role
