I. Paste 8 Pictures about the things you do on weekends, write sentences

explaining each; use frequency adverbs and the linking words we have
studied. Paste pictures ( 4 points )

My family and I sometimes go to the field, and we share great food on Sundays.

I have a soccer team, and we always practice soccer on Saturdays, so we are

good players.

I rarely have lunch with some Christian friends, but I am not Christian.

My family and I usually cook our food together on Saturdays, but we don't cook
lunch.

My family and I always go to the pool, and we have a lot of fun in the water.
 My wife and daughter often play chess on Saturday, but I don’t because I go to
play soccer.

My family and I rarely go to the camp on Saturday, and we play volleyball.

I often listen to music and see a movie at home, because I like them.

II. Make a collage about your life experience, and write 10 sentences about them,
use the different forms of past simple. ( 4 points)
 I went to a nice primary school at the age of 6 years old.
I was a good student in high school.
I used to play the violin high school.
My friends and I played soccer when we were young.
I had a beautiful girlfriend in high school.
I entered at a prestigious university.
I had a nice graduation ceremony in 2001.
I got married in 2005.
My wife and I bought a nice house to live in.
My wife and I had our first baby in 2007.

III. Write 20 sentences about your plans to improve studies at university, at the same
time tell what you should or shouldn’t do to be a good student. ( 5 points)

1. I am going to go at the library as much as possible. So I should wake up early.

2. I am going to study more hours, for that I should sleep early.
3. I am going to buy new books, so I should save as much as possible my money.
4. I am going to invest more money in books, so I shouldn´t spend money in beer.
5. I am going to make study groups with some classmates, so I should choose
the best ones.
6. I am going to access to the virtual library, so I should by my laptop.
7. I am going to spend more time in laboratories. So in advance I should ask for
permission.
8. I am going to order my schedule, so I should order my daily activities.
9. I am going to ask for advices of good teachers. I should have their telephone
numbers and emails.
10. I am going to improve my lecture habits, so I should start to read usual
information.
11. I am going to practice some values, like punctuality and responsibility, for that
I should follow my rules.
12. I am going to value my time, so I shouldn’t spend time watching television.
13. I am going to eat better, so I shouldn´t eat fast food anymore.
14. I am going to organize my courses schedule, so I should paste it on my wall to
remember my course activities.
 15. I am going to make some basic research, for that I should ask some help from
my tutor.
16. I am going to look for and scholarship, so I shouldn´t fail any course.
17. I am going to play less video games, so I should through away my CDs of
games.
18. I am going to do my homework on time, so I should respect my course
schedule.
19. I am going to help my classmates, for that I should study more. When I teach,
I learn more.
20. I am going to buy a printer, so should look for a bargain or second hand printer
in order to save money.

IV. Make a comic strip using expressions for making suggestions. Contextualize
your work at a restaurant and / or describing people ( minimum 10 pictures) ( 5
points)
A new day in this job, to be exactly my second day, let see what happens
First customers.
Me: Good morning sir and madam
Can I help you? Would you like to order something?
Mr.: Yes, please. Can you bring me some coffee?
Me: Sure sir, and for you madam?
Mrs.: I want some fruit salad and I milk.
Me: ok, I will be right away.
Nothing hard and good tip 

Second customers.

A beautiful girl; thin, tall, with long hair and just very
polite.

Her smile was my best tip.  

Here is Jacob, my coworker. Ummm is trying to
Earn more tips than I. He is heavy and short, buy good boy.

I can´t definitely compered me with Rose,

Look at her.

Rose: Would you like something to order boys?

Boys: Maybe, but I prefer just ……. See you.
Rose: how about some beer?
Boys: Sure, whatever you want, thanks.

But, Maxwell is just impressive.

Always serious, gently and very young.

I am afraid of this guy,

He seems too serious. His name is Jorge; he is
really tall, handsome, but not friendly.

Third customers.
Me: Good morning guys. Would you like to order something?
Mr.: Yes, please, can you bring some steak with French fries?
Me: of course, and for you Ms.
Ms.: May I have some vegetable salad and water?
Me: sure. Would you like anything else?
Mr.: no, thanks

Nice boy, but bad girl, and not good tip. 

 Ufff, he is a terrible customer, angry, loudly, and
more. Lucky I, is not my client.

Almost at the end of the day,

This is me, good looking, tall, thin, smart and
happy because in 10 minutes I finish my turn.

I guess it is a fine second day of job. 

Guess what!, Maybe I am going to a new restaurant, where I can find sexy, beautiful, thin,
friendly and amazing waitresses.
