Lesson Plan : KSSR Teaching Reading Skills and Vocabulary

Class : Year 3 Kelisa

Unit 13 : I See Numbers!

Content Standard : 2.2 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling, pupils will be able to
demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear
texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of
strategies to construct meaning.

Learning standard : 2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences in linear
and non-linear texts.

Learning outcomes : By the end of this lesson, pupils should be able to:

(a) transfer 6 out of 10 words from non-linear texts based on


the teacher guidance.
(b) complete 6 out of 10 tables in the worksheet by using
calendar as a reference based on the worksheet
(worksheet 1) given by the teacher.
(c) answer 10 out of 16 correctly the question based on
worksheet (worksheet 2) given by the teacher.
