Contribution to the Singapore Community
AT&T has made a donation of US$20,000 to The Straits Times
School Pocket Money Fund. The Straits Times School Pocket Money
Fund was established on Children’s Day (October 1) in the year
2000 to heighten public awareness of the plight of children from
low-income families who were attending school without a proper
breakfast or pocket money to get them through the school day. The
aim of the fund is to alleviate the financial burden faced by parents
in providing for their children’s education.
