End of Life Policy

Products may reach the end of their Product Life Cycle for many reasons, including,
for instance, product line enhancements, upgrades and offering customers the
same quality product at a lower cost. In order to assist customers in the transition
process we are providing an overview of the Brocade End of Life Policy.

For Brocade-branded hardware products the End of Life timeline can be described
as follows:

EOL timeline

Once the End of Life Notification has been provided by Brocade, customers can
continue to purchase the product until the Last Time Order Date, subject to
availability. All products ordered after of the End of Life Notification, must be
scheduled for shipment prior to the Last Customer Ship Date. For customers who
have purchased a support agreement prior to EOL Notification, you will continue to
receive support through the end of the applicable term of your support agreement
or the End of Support Date. Prior to the End of Support Date, you may purchase a
renewal to your existing support agreement subject to availability. See applicable
EOL bulletin for additional information.

Once a hardware product enters the End of Life phase, Brocade will designate a
software release (generally the latest supported release for the hardware product)
that will be supported until the End of Support Date. For customers with valid
support agreements Brocade will provide support until the End of Support Date.
During the End of Life period, if a software issue arises Brocade may, at its option,
provide a workaround or issue a patch.

To receive support from Brocade, the most recent software release must be
installed and used. New releases can be found at MyBrocade.com.
Although every effort will be made to support EOL products in accordance with our
End of Life Support Policy, Brocade reserves the right to change its policy as it
deems appropriate. Brocade will announce any changes to the EOL Support Policy
through the Brocade Website. This policy is not applicable to Brocade software
products.

• Last date Brocade will honor purchase orders for the product. The
product is no longer for sale.

• LCS /Last Customer Ship Date

• If your PO includes a requested shipped ship date, the requested ship


date may not exceed this date (LCS).

• EOS/End of Support Date

• Date after which Brocade will no longer support the product.
