and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Govt. of India is the apex national organization representing all stakeholders of real
estate. Shri Ajay Maken, the Hon'ble Union Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is its Chief Patron.
NAREDCO works towards creating an environment conducive to growth of real estate industry in India in
partnership with Industry and Govt. alike through advisory and consultative processes. NAREDCO was formed with
the mandate to induce transparency and ethics in real estate business and transform the unorganized real estate
industry into a mature, professional, modern and globally competitive industry. It strives to be the leading advocate
to develop standards for efficient, effective and ethical business practices, valued by the stakeholders and viewed crucial for healthy
growth of organized real estate industry in the country.
Project Management Associates (PMA), the National Association of Project Professionals in India was
established in 1993 as a not for profit registered society, with a vision of "Creating a Project Oriented India".
PMA is the Indian Member of the Swiss registered International Project Management Association (IPMA)
which comprises of 56 member countries across all the continents. Ministry of Statistics & Programme
Implementation (MoSPI) and Ministry of Shipping, are Life Members of PMA. The National Managing
Committee of PMA initiated a drive to open 50 Chapters across various cities to serve all the regions of
India. Currently PMA has 14 chapters in Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, NCR, Panipat,
Paradip, Pune, Ranchi, Trivandrum and Vadodara. Chennai Chapter was inaugurated by Shri Surjeet Singh Barnala, Hon'ble Governor
Tamil Nadu at Raj Bhawan and the Trivandrum chapter was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy.
