I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the period, students are expected to:
1. define what market problem is;
2. participate in group activity; and
3. site concrete example of market problem that need to be solved
B.Lesson Proper
B.1 Motivation
Four Pics One Word
The class will be group into four and guess the pictures being presented
and write their answers on the cardboard.
B.2 Activity (Focused Group Discussion)
Group the learners into four groups. Each group will be given an
article of a newspaper containing the business and lifestyle section. The
group will look for a problem or inefficiencies associated to the existing
products or services (it could be problems on feature, usage, etc.). One
representative per group will report their output.
B.3. Analysis
How did you find the activity?
Was it easy for you to find the market problem?
How did you able to identify the market problem?
Based on the activity, what is market problem?
B.4. Abstraction
The teacher will discuss market problem and will present examples
for deepening of understanding.
B.5. Application (Individual Activity)
Within three minutes, List down the products that you are using, and
identify/describe what problem it may solve.
