It gives me a great deal of pleasure to write this letter in recommendation of my student

Ms Yusra Mehina who is now at the threshold of –am sure—a brilliant academic career.
I have taught Ms Yusra several courses on the Modern and the contemporary English
novel and on Translation at Tanta University, in all of which she excelled and
distinguished herself both as a student and as a creative critic of the novel. I do
remember with pride now how I admired so much her magnificent use of the language
and her insightful appreciation of literature and language. Ms Yusra has also been a
real example to follow among her colleagues in her friendly, cooperative, and ever-
smiling demeanour. It is for the above reasons that I have nominated her as the best
student in the department over the last couple of years. In everything she attempted,
she has been quite active, hard-working, and up to date. She has also kindly
maintained a cozy, affectionate attitude towards all of her teachers. It is with pleasure
and admiration that I recommend her for any postgraduate programme at your
university, in the full knowledge that she will make the best out of it.
