August of 2016 when I had the opportunity of having him in my Advanced Biology class at the
Westtown School. Ethan is an intellectually gifted and hardworking young man. He is well-
respected by his peers and the faculty at Westtown. He works well with all types of people and is
extremely helpful in the classroom.
Ethan was one of the top students in my Advanced Biology class, he consistently raised
his hand in class to both answer and ask high –level questions. He has a solid understanding of
cell and molecular biology. He demonstrated exceptional critical thinking skills and is capable of
solving complex problems both independently or collaboratively.
Ethan has a solid work ethic and integrity. He consistently turned in high quality work on
time. He worked efficiently during labs and activities with minimal instructor direction. He could
be counted on to his fair share of the work if he was in a group and he always received very high
scores on his peer evaluations.
Ethan consistently keeps a positive attitude. I have personally never heard him complain
about any assignment or task. He is well-respected among the Westtown community and
teachers often speak fondly of Ethan, saying that he is an outstanding science student.
Ethan has demonstrated that he capable of performing high level scientific investigations
and he works very well others. He is a delightful young man and will be an asset to your
