Rational of the Proposal

MNS-UET since its inception, the UET Lahore maintained the Budget and expenditures i.e. for the period from 2012 to 27
December 2016. From 28 December 2016, thereafter, UET Lahore stopped the financial grant of MNS-UET Multan as well
as the government of Punjab has never allocated any grant from its financial budget till to date.
To enrich and enhance the institution library, it is need of faculty, scholars and students.

Detail description of the planned strengthening and Upgradation with special emphasis on economic development

MNS-UET since its inception, the UET Lahore maintained the Budget and expenditures i.e. for the period from 2012 to 27
December 2016. From 28 December 2016, thereafter, UET Lahore stopped the financial grant of MNS-UET Multan as well
as the government of Punjab has never allocated any grant from its financial budget till to date.
To enrich and enhance the institution library, it is need of faculty, scholars and students.
Benefits to be achieved / How the institution will be strengthened?

In MNS UET, Multan, there are six departments. Large number of students are studying in the university. By up-gradation of
library, it will be helpful in improving the skill of the students, and providing access to opportunities for advancement in the
society. In future, we have plan to start more bachelor and MS programs which will increase the higher education coverage.
Being the first engineering university of southern Punjab, University will be able to produce professional with skills and
innovation if the university is provided with the better facility. The economy of the country will boost.
How the project will be pursued?

By this up-gradation, more than 1000 students of the university will be benefited. University will be strengthened by
producing better professional by providing the quality of knowledge.

What will be the internal mechanism for monitoring and control (financial and physical)?

University has the physical structure for the development of laboratory. Department with the help of treasurer and other
administration staff will monitor and look after the project.
