Near-Eye Display System
Intevac Vision Systems (IVS) I-PORT EX3 is a highly versatile hands-free-
display (HFD) system mounted on lightweight Oakley M-Frame® 2.0, military
approved, protective eyewear. This unique and extremely comfortable combi-
nation makes the monocular I-PORT EX3 display ideal for a variety of applica-
tions where virtually unobstructed vision and simultaneous information access
are critical.

I-PORT EX3 The rugged, low power I-PORT EX3 monocular Display Module (DM) accepts
PC video and power inputs via a single, rugged small diameter cable through
the attached Glenair quick disconnect connector. The removable DM is
mounted on the eyewear via a patent pending ball/socket mount which
ensures optimum placement of the image to the viewer’s eye through simple
swivel adjustments. The DM is easily reconfigured for left or right eye viewing
using tinted or clear lenses and is available with Prescription Lens Carriers
(PLC’s). The DM also incorporates patent pending integrated push button
panel to provide power control to the display, image flip and display luminance
adjustment.

The I-PORT EX3 is an advanced display system that is well suited for OEMs,
military, medical, training, simulation, and virtual reality applications. The
Patent pending ball and socket mounting I-PORT EX3 is available directly from IVS or any of the IVS distributors world-
wide.
