The 10th grade students will answer at least 90% of the questions that are related to Simple Past Tense at the
final exam.

Prezi, Kizoa. Google Forms. Visuals, Audio, smart board or projector.
Learning-Teaching Methods [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and Materials)]
Presentation and face to face interaction will be integrated with Grammar Translation Method.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]
The teacher starts the lesson using the smart board. S/he introduces the structure of the Simple Past Tense,
gives example sentences, explains second forms of common used verbs and time adverbs through Prezi. Then,
teacher presents a video about the the life of a heroic figure with Kizoa.
Individual Learning Activities

Group Learning Activities Students will form groups to detect irregular and
regular verbs used in Kizoa.
Summary
In the affirmative form, the structure of the Simple Past Tense is S+V2+O. If it’s negative, we use
S+didn’t+V1+O. If it’s interrogative, did+S+V1+O? Common used verbs (do, make, born, go, sleep, die..)
Measurement & Evaluation
To evaluate the students, they will be asked to answer a quiz that includes multiple choice, gap filling and
matching questions on Google Forms.

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan


Firstly, the teacher will show the presentation and then will focus on sample sentences. Secondly, the teacher
will ask students to talk about their heroic figures. Lastly, s/he will present the videos in Kizoa. In case of any
power loss, teacher will provide handouts prepared beforehand for students.
