Overview This section details how to perform a rough calibration of each robot axis, that is updating
the revolution counter value for each axis, using the FlexPendant. Detailed information
about revolution counters and how to update them, with calibration positions and scales,
can be found in the respective robot product manual. Also, see the manual Operating
manual - Calibration Pendulum for information on calibration.
For robots using the Absolute Accuracy option, the calibration data file absacc.cfg must be
loaded first.

5 A dialog box is displayed, warning that the updating operation cannot be undone:
Tap Update to proceed with updating the revolution counters.
Tap Cancel to cancel updating the revolution counters.
Tapping Update updates the selected revolution counters and removes the tick from
the list of axes.

6 CAUTION
If a revolution counter is incorrectly updated, it will cause incorrect
manipulator positioning, which in turn may cause damage or injury!
Check the calibration position very carefully after each update.
See section Checking the calibration position in either of the calibration manuals,
depending on which calibration method to be used. The Product manual for the robot
also contains more information about calibration.
