THE OLYMPIC VALUES ALEX CARRE

For start the talk, the teacher asked to some people what we want to do when we
finish, he started to dialogue with the people and it was good and interesting because he
interacts with the public, and you are attentive because at any time it can ask you too.
That was one of the good points.

Other interesting thing that he did is that he talk about the Olympics games but
also said that is not all good, that have also some disadvantages. And also, he talked about
his education system, in Canada, where you have to make a lot of hours of practices before
start working.

His talk was very full, he told us a lot of things in a bit time. He explained us the
Olympics values, like promotion of religions and different cultures.

In my opinion, the only bad thing that this talk was that the teacher was talking
too much time about his curriculum and about himself. I think it was very good, because

we learned a lot of new things about education and Olympics that were very important to
know.

MOVEMENT GAMES SIMONA ŠAFAŘÍKOVÁ

This talk was a bit different from the others talks. It was more practical and
sensory. We were playing to some games.

There were some games that were very funny like the game that we were up in a
Swiss bench and we had to order us by our birthday but the problem was that we couldn’t
touch the ground so we have to make antics.

In the other part, we played some games a bit boring, like if the class were the
world, try to sit where are you from, the last place did you travel… I think, there were a
bit silly games and also games that you can do quicker.

Also, we did some games that were funny but only could play some people. It was
like, a virus, the medicament and some two things more. Rest of us, were in a circle
passing a ball trying to touch the person in the middle of the circle. This game was funny
but I think it’s not a good game for play with a lot of people, because some of us we were
bored.

In my opinion, it was very useful because in my field its necessary to know a lot
of games, as much as you can, because I think the best form to learn is playing games.

THE OLYMPICS AS A VEHICLE FOR EDUCATION ALEX CARRE

I like a lot he talked about the Olympics as a vehicle for education, because for
my studies and also for my future was very useful. He talked about how to educate with
an Olympics education focus. He saw were he work, in Canada, in a place like a high-
performance sports university.

He talked about his travels and his jobs, also in China, and his time of coach of
basketball making the talked more interesting.

In one hand, he made jokes and ask to people making a fluent conversation
between teacher and student, and that’s also one of the reason for being my first option,

because the teacher has something interesting to talk about, (education in sports), and also
had a communication that makes you not miss any moment.

One anecdote was, during his talked a camera like a tv or something was filming
him and also one boy making photos to him in class.

MULTI-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION: DANGER OR

OPPORTUNITY? LENKA DUŠKOVÁ

I attended this class Thursday, 9 at 8:00 o’clock at Neredin A 309. I choose it the
fourth because some reasons.

In general, I liked it much and I laughed also. First of all, she presented him and
ask us to write our name. We had to write adjectives that we feel when we have problems.
With all of these adjectives we told them and we talked about them.

Later, the teacher asks us for make couples and did a pulse with one objective, do
it slowly as you can.

After that, we were in groups and one of us had to write what another gay sees in
one paper. This game was for show how we communicate and how to improve it for
transfer more information.

In the other hand, I was the only Erasmus student so the other group of Czechs
talked in his native language with the teacher also sometimes. Also, I think the teacher
could use a presentation with the computer.

In my opinion, the topic it is not very important but its necessary also for make it
more professional. Also, was interesting because I was alone with a lot of Czechs and
was a great moment.

FAIR PLAY IN LIFE AND IN SPORT SEVIM GÜLLÜ

I attended this class Thursday, 9 at 11:30 o’clock in Neredin A 309.

I think it was important to my field of study because it was a presentation about

the fair play.

On my field of study, sports, it’s necessary to be fair play, because its one
fundamental pillars of the competition.

The talk was interesting and said a lot of important things and past history about
of the fair play and violence that exists in sports venues.

The bad feeling was that she was talking all the time and it did a bit boring. Also,
I think she said some things wrong because, she said that two acts of racism were in the
same place of the Spanish League of Football, and the acts were in different years and
different stadiums.
