Post Graduate Project, “Adaptive Equalization for MIMO Systems”

Project Members: 1
Project Duration: 18 Months

Description:

In wireless technologies MIMO interest is increased, which takes effective advantage of rich-multi path
propagation to increase the data speed of the system. But multi path propagation creates channel makes
dispersive which leads errors in the received symbols. So we are going for MIMO channel equalization.

 Proposed Gradient lattice filter algorithm to Equalize MIMO systems.

 Implemented MIMO Equalization using Gradient Filters on Mat lab.

 Proposed algorithm offers computational complexity in O(n) but conventional

Kalman+DFE algorithm offers complexity in O(n*n).

 Low computational complexity with compromising BER, applicable in practical systems

like Wifi, Wimax etc. because BER can be improved using coding..

Achievements: Proposal selected for IEEE International Conference paper.

Graduate Project, “Building Automation for Home using GSM Mobiles”

Project Members: 3
Project Duration: 6 Months

The basic purpose of this project is to increase the safety and to build high security system for home. Here
we implemented kit which consists of GSM modem and sim. By sending message from our mobiles we
can check and change the status of home appliances, this kit can be accessed by only given number.
