Bambadjan Bamba is a new Marvel Studios king that is popular for the 4th grade age group. He

emigrated to the United States from a small country in West Africa that broke out into a civil

war. This article describe how citizenship rules are still changing to this day which can be related

to my specific lesson plan of “Becoming a Citizen.” Under Donald Trump’s new laws, Bamba’s

citizenship is being affected. This can provide the students with a personal introduction into how

becoming a citizen can be complicated, challenging and changes.
