HCM DATA LOADER SUPPORT DIAGNOSTIC

Introduction
When using HCM Data Loader to load complex data, you may encounter errors that need further
investigation. The HCM Data Loader Data-Set Status report is available in the diagnostic framework to
provide additional technical information that can help you to identify the problem. You can send the
output to Oracle Support to help Oracle identify and resolve your issue.

The HCM Data Loader Data-Set Status report is not designed for reporting all errors in your data set. The HCM Data
Loader Data Set Summary is provided in HCM Extracts for that purpose.

See the HCM Data Loader Extracts white paper available on My Oracle Support (document ID 1664133.1).

Report Output
The HCM Data Loader Data-Set Status report is a user-readable html output that provides status information and
details of every process submitted to import and load your data set.

For each business object included in your data set, the business object status and file definition is reported. The
following sections provide technical information about your failed records:

» Failed and Unprocessed Objects

» Child Rows with No Valid Parent
» Failed and Unprocessed Rows
» Failed and Unprocessed Lines
The HCM Data Loader Data-Set Status output does not include sensitive data. It provides internal statuses, error
messages, and, where recorded, stack trace.

Note: Running this report for a complete data set is likely to fail. The diagnostic framework will time out before the
output is successfully generated.
