Dear Fellow Citizens…Ladies and Gentlemen of the Republican Party of Anne

Arundel County.

Before I begin tonight, I would like to announce the most important

Republican victory since Ronald Reagan’s historic elections in 1980 and 1984
– No not Scott Brown – he has already forsaken his party and his
constituency on several occasions. It is Joe Miller, the Republican Candidate
for Alaska’s US Senate Seat.

I appreciate the opportunity to speak to the full committee tonight. The

Chairman has informed me this is not standard protocol – to allow visitors –
citizens – registered voters – the opportunity to SPEAK – to have a VOICE in
the Republican Committee.

Monday night, Albert Pujols, the baseball player who received an award for
Hope from Glenn Beck in front of at least ½ million Americans was “booed”
in Houston – WHY?

Any answer to the question is insufficient.

Albert openly proclaims his deep religious beliefs; he scored 100% on his
citizenship test in 2007 when he was naturalized; he said of Baseball’s Triple
Crown, “It is nothing if you do not know the three branches of government.

Why “boo” him? Because he lives by an admirable, self-imposed value

system based on Holy Scripture.

Last week, a seated member of this Committee – A person who sought this
office through a public election – who requested fellow Republicans to cast
their votes for him chose to publish an editorial as a member of this
Committee.

He attacked an incumbent Delegate, a fellow Committee member, and two

candidates for this Committee.

But he did not stop there. He attacked two non-profit organizations – WHY?

Again, any answer to the question is insufficient.

He stated that it was Extremist thought to declare the FACT that this country
was founded on three documents – The Declaration of Independence, the US
Constitution, and the Bible – WHY?

I am saddened that I have to be here tonight. I believed that I was a member

of the party with the higher moral ground, because I thought I was in the
party of Reagan and Lincoln. Two Presidents who stalwartly defended
America’s founding principles against all odds in the Cold and Civil Wars
respectively. This body hosts a fundraising dinner in their honor every year.

As a Person of Faith upon reading the article I felt personally attacked as a

Christian. As a Republican I felt betrayed.

Today as a Committee – as Republicans, I implore you to embody the traits

of Reagan and Lincoln – Restore Your Honor – Display Your Character –
Conduct Yourselves with Integrity.

Defend the People of Faith that have been offended by your member’s
Editorial piece by publicly declaring that the opinions he expressed are not
those of this Committee. Defend your fellow Republicans. Right the Wrongs
to the non-profit organizations. And discipline the offender.

Thank you for allocating time in your schedule for me to speak tonight.

After completing this line, Eric Robey – high-level official in County Executive John
Leopold’s office moved for adjournment. Eric Flamino seconded the motion without
discussion. And that is how Honor, Character, and Integrity Died in the Anne Arundel
County Republican Party.

Audrey Scott, Chariman of the MD GOP was contacted via phone and email in regards
to this issue and stated that the Maryland State Republican Party has no authority over
matters in the Anne Arundel County Central Committee. Both organizations share
administrative offices in Annapolis.

Alan Rzepkowski, Chairman of the Anne Arundel County Central Committee was not in attendance. His
absence was not discussed. Mr. Rzepkowski, is running again in District 32
