Instructions to the Students
Dear Student,

Welcome to HBCSE Campus. The campus of Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education has Main Building,
Olympiad Building, NIUS Building, Old Guest House and NIUS Guest House.
On arrival you will be guided to your respective rooms by the security staff. Kindly note that mutual swapping of
rooms is strictly not allowed. Arrangement of camp food is effective from April 17 evening snacks. You may avail food on
cash payment from HBCSE canteen prior to that.
Kindly go through the information given below:
A] Facilities
1) The canteen and library facilities are in the Main Building.
2) You will be provided with the badges which you need to carry everyday for identification.
3) Library Facility:
Library will be open from 09:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
(You need to wear your i-card for entry to the library. You are not allowed to take any book out of the library.
Also you are not allowed to take your personal books inside the library.)
4) Canteen:
Breakfast timing: 8:30am to 9:00am
Lunch timing: 12:50 pm to 2:15pm
Snacks timing: depends on the lecture.
Dinner: 8:00pm to 9:00pm

B] Payments
1) Please bring your “original journey tickets” along with you on the first day i.e. April 18, 2016. Submit your
tickets to Mr. Ravi Ghodke (PRO Office)
2) You do not have to pay for your food and accommodation.
3) Accompanying persons (if any) will have to pay for their food. Due to limited availability of rooms, no
accommodation will be provided to accompanying persons.
4) Please bring the photo copy of your passport on the first day. If you do not have the copy, please ask your parents
to send to us through the mail.
C] Program
Your camp will start at 9:00 am on April 18, 2016 in the room no. G1 (Ground Floor) of HBCSE Main Building.
Detailed time table for one week is kept at the outside G-1 (Ground floor of HBCSE Main building) and NIUS Guest
House.

D] In case of emergency, please contact HBCSE security (Ph. No. – 022-25072100, 25072300, 25072305, 25072500) or
Extension – 2207 (HBCSE PRO Office) from HBCSE internal phones.

F) students are expected to follow proper etiquette and use the hostel facility with discretion. Damage to hostel property
such as doors, windows, electrical fitting, toilet fitting, misuse of water etc. will lead to fine, disciplinary action and
expulsion from camp.

E] Please take care of your valuables. The centre will not be responsible for any loss of your valuables..
