2 I hope you are doing well; we did not have the chance to meet each other in person. I
3 live in the adjacent house next to yours. I am writing this letter to express my
4 uncomfortable due to the loud sound of music, which you play. I like your taste in music,
5 sometimes I enjoy what you are playing. However, I do have the right to control over my
6 life.

8 It wakes me up and makes me often lose sleep. I cannot focus in morning as a result. I
9 utterly forget how it feels to deep sleep. We do not have to escalate things up. Tenants
10 living upstairs are experiencing my same problem; the acoustic insulation effectiveness is
11 terrible. Please lower the sound during daytime and wear headphones at nighttime. I
12 would appreciate your cooperation. I wish you would cooperate so we can throw a party
a wake up the whole neighborhood.

1 A few years ago, the way we lived was different. It all happened when
2 those game changer devices became something that cannot be ignored. The
3 smartphones reshaped our world. People argued over the past years whether
4 this change was good or bad. It is an all-in-one device; it is a calendar, alarm,
5 calculator, beeper, music player, GPS, camcorder, and others. As a result, we
6 depend on it in almost life aspect. It raised privacy concerns as well. Shall we
7 continue living this virtual life through screens?

9 We cannot ignore that smartphones are a productivity tool. In my
10 humble opinion, thanks to google, apple, and Microsoft, those giants massively
11 contributed making it possible. We can attend online classes, we can do video
12 conferences, send and receive emails, record video, navigate through the
world etc. employers used it to enrich their businesses. The usages are
13
uncountable due to the flexibility of modern operating systems.

16 Although of those benefits, raises concerns. It has been noticed that some
17 people became disconnected from reality. They got used to living their lives
18 through screens. They socially interact with people through social websites.
19 Those devices also raised privacy concerns, as they are prone to hacking.

21 Overall, smartphone became an essential part of our life. However, we
22 as adults should keep the balance. We can take the most advantage of this
23 double-edged sword weapon. We should enjoy the moment instead of
recording it. We should physically interact with people who matter us. We
should make good use of smartphones as a productivity tool.
