 Requirements:

 In-class group presentation (20 %; group-based): about one-hour group


presentation in class before teacher’s discussion; chapter introduction and
case briefing; best practice sharing: using related secondary data and case
materials to connect the reality and the contents; mainly PPT format;
presentation rundown: chapter briefing>>best practice(s) sharing and
discussion>>Q&A and discussions.

 Final report (30 %; group-based): field interview(s) and diagnoses of one


real organization; all related topics discussed in this class are welcome;
word format (text length: about 15-20 pages in total) >> core issues are
related to the system(s) for acquiring, developing and retaining the talents
of the case company.

 Individual performance on interactive discussion (20 %;


individual-based) : preparation the assigned chapters weekly; in-class
constructive discussions and interactions.

 Final Exam (20 %; individual-based): closed book exam based on items


and scopes assigned >> the glossaries in final pages of the textbook.
