Throughout the past two years, I have been working on developing skills in the culinary industry
that would be beneficial to your kitchen. I understand you work in a high pressure, fast paced
environment with highly skilled chef’s and cooks, and I believe I am an asset within this environment. I
am confident in my skills as an apprentice cook, as I have an immense passion for the art, and
appreciate working to develop my qualifications within a kitchen.

I am currently studying Culinary Skills at the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced
Learning, and am committed to building toward a culinary career. One year ago, I left Tim Hortons,
where I worked as the afternoon baker as well as a team member. Since then, I have been developing
my skills within kitchens such as Villa Caledon Inn, a three-tiered restaurant (pub, fine dining, as well as
weddings/events), in which I learned the essentials of restaurant work, and the basics of Garde manger.
I feel that my passion towards cooking, supplemented by some experience and a willingness to learn,
make me an essential candidate for your team.
