WIRAND® STEEL FIBERS

Flexural Strength Design Values for ACI 360 R/06 and General Structural Applications

Product Description
Wirand® steel fibers can be used for structural design. The principal property that refers to the most relevant codes is the flexural
strength beam test as ASTM C1609, C1399 or JSFC-4.
From the tests can be defined the constitution law of the material for the fracture mechanics concrete analysis, tensile strength, and
shear resistance.
The following tables refer to the suggested values in % of the first crack moment of MOR (Modulus of Rupture). These values can
be used as the Re3 suggested in the ACI 360R-06 and can be used to define the behavior of the material for general structural
designs.
