The quality of water supply and waste
water disposal has a decisive influence
on the development opportunities and
prospects of a region.
GAUFF Engineering plans and imple-
ments efficient, reliable and environ-
ment-friendly water supply and waste
water disposal concepts.
According to a United Nations resolution from July 28th,
2010, clean drinking water is a human right. However, conta-
minated drinking water continues to be the main reason for
most diseases. Although about 90 per cent of the world popu-
lation has access to clean water by now, there are still nearly
one billion people worldwide who are insufficiently supplied.
Regions with a disproportionately increasing population and
rapid economic growth need functioning concepts for water
supply and waste water disposal. Long-term planning improves
the living conditions and preserves health for all classes of the
population.

The field of competence of water is a „commitment for life“

A PASSION FOR CLEAN ENERGY

Electric power is the energy for soci-
al and economic development of our
time. Therefore, a steady, stable and
demand-oriented supply is necessary.
With renewable energies GAUFF lays
the foundation for the preservation of
limited resources.
In the fields of energy the resolutions of the world community
regarding the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) put em-
phasis on the use of eco-friendly generated energy by means
of renewable energy. After years of proscription, the use of
hydropower for the generation of electricity is nowadays accepted
at its true value. Worldwide, more electricity is already generated
by hydropower than by nuclear power. We create infrastructure
for a clean generation of energy and a stable supply taking into
consideration the internationally recognised standards for envi-
ronment and security.
Projects
GAUFF implements for example hydroelectric power plants of any
performance class. In Pakistan, we are implementing five run-of-
river hydropower plants with five megawatt (MW) each and the
Akhori Dam with a respectable performance of 600 MW. Our dam
project "Grand Poubara" in Gabon will supply up to 160 MW.

We offer a wide range of energy concepts and we prepare an
individual concept for each customer. In addition to hydropower,
wind energy, biogas and photovoltaic plants serve for an ecological
