GENERAL:

These devices are open-type devices intended for installation in tool-

secured enclosures.

The WAGO I/O System is a field bus independent bus system which can be
used for solving extended automation tasks such as storing signals for
pushbuttons, evaluating the position of selector switches, processing signals
from limit and safety switches and other programmable controllers, counting
low frequency pulses, controlling motor valves, actuators, etc.

ELECTRICAL RATINGS:

All series 750 represents series 753 except for the differences described in
this procedure eg. 750-300 represents 753-300 etc.

For alternate module numbers listed under "Product Covered" refer to the
ratings of the original module type.

I. The programmable controllers Cat. No. 750-632 shall be marked with

electrical ratings 0.9 A Pilot Duty (2 channels)on the device or in
the installation manual.

The programmable controllers shall also be marked with the max. specified
surrounding air temperature (55°C with no suffix) on the devices or in the
installation instructions. See Page 11.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

An installation manual shall be provided with each unit to direct

the user on proper installation and operation of the device and shall include
the following:

A. “This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2,

Groups A, B, C, D or non-hazardous locations only.

B. “This equipment is to be fitted within tool-secured enclosures

only.”

C. “WARNING - Explosion hazard - substitution of components may impair

suitability for Class I, Div. 2.”

* D. “WARNING - Do not disconnect equipment unless power has been

switched off or the area is known to be non-hazardous” applicable
for each operator accessible connector and fuse holder.”

E. When a fuse is provided, the following information shall be

provided: “A switch suitable for the location where the equipment is
installed shall be provided to remove the power from the fuse.”

F. For devices with Ether CAT/Ethernet connectors “Only for use in

LAN, not for connection to telecommunication circuits”.

G. “WARNING - Use Module 750-642 only with antenna module 758-910”.

H. For Couplers/Controllers and Economy bus modules only: The

instructions shall contain the following: “The configuration
interface Service connector is for temporary connection only. Do
not connect or disconnect unless the area is known to be non-
hazardous. Connection or disconnection in an explosive atmosphere
could result in an explosion.”

I. Modules containing fuses only:

“WARNING - “Devices containing fuses must not be fitted into
circuits subject to over loads, e.g. motor circuits”

J. Modules containing SD card reader sockets only: "WARNING: DO NOT

CONNECT OR DISCONNECT SD-CARD WHILE CIRCUIT IS LIVE UNLESS THE AREA
IS KNOWN TO BE FREE OF IGNITABLE CONCENTRANTIONS OF FLAMMABLE GASES
OR VAPORS."

K. The Modules 750-439, 750-538, 750-633, 750-663/000-003 shall only be

supplied with 750-606 or 750-625/000-001.

Manual shall contain CONTROL DRAWING No.750538 with its entity
parameters. “In Hazardous Locations, Non-Incendive only when
