2. SCOPE OF WORKS.
This item is description for the supply and installation of the M&E works. M&E scope of works

PREPARING WORKS
1. Document Preparing works.
+ After received to start of work command from the Owner, we will submit Manpower list shall
be joint to this project for The Owner to monitoring and to issue an Entry Card licence.
+ To report with Police and local authorities for execution the work and submitted Manpower
list with detail information (name, address, telephone…).
+ To submit with the Owner and Consutanting engineering of Time Schedule has been
approval to co-ordinate in project progress. Site report approved by the Owner with stamp
will be prepared after start of work.
+ To submit with the Owner and Consutanting engineering of Catalogue and technical drawing
for M&E equipment in 02 weeks, after the Owner signed contract for the Owner and
Consultanting Engineering approved.
2. Site Plan layout.
+ Site plan layout shall be specify location by the Owner for execution of the M&E works as
well as site storage for regrouping materials, tools… and set up temporary electrical, water
supply, telephone to carry out works at site. Also the contractor will be set up 01 Generator
100kVA for emergency power supply for site office and workshop.
+ The M&E Contractror will be set up temporary fence for Site plan layout, also set up 01
guard house for this area. Beside the contractor will be set up workshop for fabrication duct,
sleeve, piping, hangers, support and accessories for M&E works with waste area following
LEED requirement.
+ To set up site storage with 03 container volume is 40ft and storage is to maintain good,
equipments and tools.
+ Site office shall be setup with 02 container 40ft in office area included: office area, meeting
room for management project.
3. Man power and facilities.
+ Manpower: will be set up followings capacity of Project (see detail in Organization Chart).
+ Machinery and Tools: see detail in tender document.
+ Materials: all material used to carry out of M&E works the contractor shall submit product
data sheet and sample to the Owner and Consultanting Engineering, also available with
technical specification, standard.

+ Installation hanger and support for Water Cooled Chiller pipe (see detail for support and
hangers).
+ Installation Water Cooled Chiller main piping and fixed main pipe with Hangers/ supports, if
piping diameter is over DN 65 shall be connect by welding connection.
+ Installation water cooled chiller branch pipe and fixed branch pipe with hangers/ supports, if
piping diameter is over DN 65 shall be connect by welding connection and if piping diameter
belows DN65 shall connection by thread connection.
+ Separation to each branch pipe with main pipe for leaked testing with high pressure.
+ After leaked testing for each branch pipe, contractor will be start to insulation work for
water cooled chiller pipe.
+ Final leaked testing for Codensing water pipe with high pressure (repair if need).
+ To water filled up in system with two times for cleaning piping system.
+ Operating piping system with working pressure for loading test and final erection work.
+ The Installation Air Compressor, Air Dryer and Air Receiver to foundation of Compressor
Room fixed equipment with basement by expansion bolts with ruber pad.
+ The Installation Air piping system connect Air Compressed outlet with Air Dyer, Pre Filter,
After Filter and Air Receiver tanks. Also installation drains piping for Air Compressor system.
+ The Installation Ventilation system for Air Compressor as: Ducting, Air intake Louver and Air
Exhaust for Compressor Room.
+ The connection power supply and control wiring for Air Compressor, Air Dryer and others for
this system.
+ Checking Monitoring Controller and displays devices, as well as instruments for controllers.
+ Checking overall the connection correctly and reliably, all conditions must be fulfilled.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and
finished installation works.
+ Making location of faucets, valves, pipes or appliances on the floor or slab concrete for
preparing main line of Sewer or water service piping.
+ Installation of sewer and water service sleeves underground of building.
+ Installation of sewer and water service branch piping from the main to the property line,
when installed by authorized municipal utility employees or
sewer water utility installers under contract with a
municipality.
+ Installation of water service mains piping works, connect
water service Main pipe with Valve box (included Water
Meter) and connect with Main Pipe of Industrial Park.
+ Construction Manholes, Great Trap and Septic Tank for Sewer
water system and then connect Sewer main pipe with
Manhole of Sewer system outside of Industrial Park.
+ Leaking test one by one with each branch pipe
of water service system.
+ Flows test one by one with each Manholes and
branch pipe of Sewer water system.
+ Final leaked testing for water service pipe with
high pressure (repair if need).
+ Final checking with Manholes, Great Trap,
Septick Tank for water flows of Sewer water
system.
+ To water filled up in system with two times for
cleaning piping system.
+ Operating piping system with working pressure
for loading test and final erection work.
TRANSFORMER:
+ Shop drawings Manual installation of Manufacturer
with detail installation of works.
+ Lifting and Removing Transformer from site storage
to Transformer Room.
+ Checking transformer foundation and marking fixed
location of transformer.
+ The installation transformer shall accord to safety
requirements. For those without enclosure, grounded
disconnection fence shall be placed around the
transformer. Hazard-warning signs shall be put up on
the main body of the transformer, on the striking
places of the cabinet anf the fence.
+ The connection of cables and busbars must be up to standards and the safe insulation
distance regulations descripble. Cables and busbars must be supported with fixed braces,
and excessive mechanical force and torque must not be exerted on the terminal.
+ Checking Temperature controlling and displays
devices, as well as instruments for automatic
voltage controllers.
+ Checking overall the connection correctly and
reliably, all conditions must be fulfilled.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal
condition and finished installation works.
+ After civil engineering of distribution room is finished, installation illumination and power
supply, ventilation device for installation.
+ Checking foundation complied with requirement for torelance of platness and linearlity which
guarantee the installation of switchgear.
+ The installation of fundamental fra me, adjust the height and levelness of fundamental
frame.
+ The installation of the switchgear fixed with fundamental frame with bolts.
+ The installation of the burbar, used socket bolt to connect the busbar to corresponding
branched busbars.
+ Switchgear earthing: connect all lines that need to be earthed in the cubicle.
+ The epilog of the installation: check bolt connecting, cleaning switchgear carefully.
+ Check overall conditions of switchgear, energize the auxiliary control power. Inspect the
effectiveness of mechanical and electrical interlock.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
+ The epilog of the installation: check bolt connecting, cleaning Distribution panel carefully.
+ Check overall conditions of distribution panel, energize the auxiliary control power. Inspect
the effectiveness of mechanical and electrical interlock.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
+ Receiving cable from SEC’s storage/HTG site storage day by day comply with technical
specification and quantity of cable lines.
+ Checking location put in Cable Drum at site with a convenient location for security and
carries out at the site.
3. Preparing for Labor:
+ Assume of Technical: Electrical Supervisors (Engineering).
+ Labor for Cable Pulling:
- 01 team for preparing cable pulling location at the site.
- 01 team for transportation, loading and unloading cable drum.
- 01 team for preparing Cable Roller support, cable winch, extension cable roller.
METHOD EXCECUTIVE OF INSTALLATION WORKS
1. Pulling Cable
• Used Roller metering for length of cable lines.
• Checking Cable Drum with correct with specify, dimension and marking location of cable pulling,
Cable plug must be cover for damp-proof.
• Installation cable winch and cable roller for Cable lines, checking carefully with support and
cable lines.
• Testing Cable insulation by Metering MΩ, private for HV cable shall be checking insulation
before and after cable terminal procedures.
• Loading and Unloading Cable Drum on Cable roller support.
• From Cable Drum to let out cable on the Cable roller to protect grazed of insulation cable.
• Used Hydraulic Cable Winch pulling cable on the Cable Roller has been installed with double-
headed cable, at the manholes some labor will be inside to strengthen and reduced friction of
cable and duct bank pipes.
• Pulling cable inside Cable duct bank/trunking to arrange cable in order of Cable layers.
• Cable longer will be pulling first and then pulling shorter cables; big side will be pulling and then
pulling smaller side.
• Cable pulling must be finished in one day (force majeure: Weather….e.t.c, HTG will be cover
this cable, protect cable length for damp-proof, to be victim of a burglary and set up 01 security
commanding post for this cable line).
2. Cable gland, testing and connection works
• Checking cable gland for each panels, must be to provide for additional cable at any time. In
side Panel, power cable and control cable must be separation with 02 areas. After to press cable
body with cable gland, connection part and cable stomach must be freedom state, not in twist
state or broken line, then execution connects to one cable for each panel.
• Remove Cable rubber and insulation cut the cores to the required
length (follows cable gland). Installation follows sequence of cable
gland, to press carefully with Panel cover.
• To glue up Cable name and tag number with each cable.
• After pulling cable and cable gland installation finished, checking
insulation and put cable plug, cable plug must be correct parallel
with to contact surface at the equipment will be connects. When
connecting cable plug with terminal, must be used mechanical tool
comply with measuring pressure for ensure contact surface is
absolute.
Preparing works:
+ Shop drawings with detail installation of works.
+ Preparing Team for machinery Layout, equipment and Tools.
+ Testing equipment.
Machinery for erection works included:
+ Hydraulic Press pliers : 01 set.
+ Handle Press pliers : 02 set.
+ Mechnical Tools : 01 lot.
+ Electrical Tools : 01 lot.
+ Clout and accessories : 01 lot.
HV Cable terminal installation works:
+ Shop drawings with detail installation of works and Installation guide of manufacturer.
+ Cut the cable to the required length and remove the oversheath. Leave enough length to set
the cores into their final positon. Clean and degrease the end of the oversheath for about
100 mm (A1)
+ Remove the release paper and wrap one layer of sealant tape (red) with a small overlap and
slight tension around the end of the oversheath for 80 mm. Bend the shielding wires back
onto the oversheath. Avoid crossing individual wires. Temporarily fix the shielding wires well
below the red sealant tape to the oversheath (A2).
+ Bend and shape the cores into their final position. Cut the cores to the required length.
Thoroughly remove the core screen according to dim. The surface of the insulation should
be free from all traces of conductive material. Smooth out any irregularities (A3).
+ Remove the release paper and wrap the void filling strip (yellow) around the end of the core
screen. Cover 20 mm of the core screen and continue onto the insulation for 10 mm. Stretch
the strip to half of its original width to achieve a fine, thin edge onto the insulation (A4)
+ Cut the cable to the required length and remove the oversheath. Leave enough length to set
the cores into the final position. Clean and degrease the end of the oversheath for about
100 mm. (B1)
+ Separate the cores. Wrap an earth lead round each core and soldertack it to the metal tape
shield (or attach the earth lead by any other equivalent method). Fill the earth lead with
solder to form a 30 mm moisture block 30 mm from the oversheath end. Remove the
release paper and wrap one layer of sealant tape (red) round the oversheath end for 80 mm
underneath the earth lead. (B2)
+ Bend and shape the cores into their final position. Cut the cores to the required length.
Place a temporary wire binder around the cores at the position shown in the drawing. Tear
off the tape shield against the wire binder. Remove the metal tape shield according to
dimension b. Thoroughly remove the core screen to 20 mm above the metal tape shield cut.
The surface of the insulation should be free from all traces of conductive material (B3).
+ Remove the wire binder from the end of the metal tape shield. Remove the release paper
and wrap the void filling strip (yellow) for 5 mm onto the metal tape shield, continuing over
the core screen and 10 mm onto the insulation. Stretch the strip to half of its original width
to achieve a fine, thin edge onto the insulation (B4)
+ Remove the release paper and wrap the sealant tape (red) around the barrel of the cable
lug with a small overlap and slight tension (B8).
+ Remove the release paper from the red tubing. Place the tubing over the cores with the
sealant coated end downwards. Push the tubing over the breakout turrets as far as possible
and shrink it down starting at the crutch and working upwards (B9).
+ Tie the shielding wires or the earth lead with a wire binder to the oversheath below the
breakout. Gather the shielding wires together to form an earth lead (B10)
+ Cut the tubing back onto the connector barrel if neccesary. Postheat the palm of the lug
until a bead of mastic appears around the top of the tubing. Indoor termination up to 17.5
kV completed. Allow the terminations to cool before applying any mechanical strain. For
indoor terminations above 17.5 kV and outdoor terminations shrink the skirts into place
+ Used Electrical Plier cutting and removed ruber cover outside LV cable with distance follows
technical guide lines installation works.
+ The installation Electrical Plug with the same sized of LV Cable and to used Handle or
Hydraulic Press plier to press electrical plug with LV bare cable location correctly.
+ Checking connection point and cleaning all of terminal before installation LV cable terminal.
+ To used electrical tools for installation LV terminal and checking phase and terminal color
correctly and finished installation work.
+ Scarfolding : 10 sets.
CCTV system installation works:
+ Checking and marking cameras location inside and out side Factory following Shop drawing.
+ The installation conduit from Control Room to cameras location.
+ The installation support and bracket for Cameras inside and outside factory.
+ Pulling CCTV cable from Control Room to Cameras location.
+ Set up CCTV equipment inside Control included: Digital Recorder, Keyboard Controller,
Monitors, UPS backup with CCTV terminal connection.
+ The installation Cameras fixed with support and bracket has been installed and connection
CCTV cable with cameras by terminal.
+ Checking controller and displays devices, as well as instruments for automatic controllers.
+ Checking overall the connection correctly and reliably, all conditions must be fulfilled.
+ Setup program, software and start to setting system with technical condition follows this
tender.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
+ The installation conduit from Server Room to Hub Switch managed for each ares and
conduit from Sub-Switch to LAN socket location and installation LAN box inside brick wall or
on the floor.
+ The installation support and bracket for Sub-Switch location at each others.
+ Pulling LAN cable from Server Room to Sub-Switch at each areas and from Sub- Switch to
LAN socket box location.
+ The installation LAN terminal and LAN socket cover with LAN socket.
+ Set up LAN equipment inside Server Room included: Router, ADSL Modem, Main Server,
Main Switch managed and UPS.
+ The connection terminal LAN cable with Sub-Switch and from Sub-Switch to Main switch and
Server. Checking controller and displays devices, as well as instruments for LAN system.
+ Checking overall the connection correctly and reliably, all conditions must be fulfilled.
+ Setup program, software and start to setting system with technical condition follows this
tender.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
