Responder en inglés las preguntas presentadas en el cuestionario “Job Interview” y

grabar los audios correspondientes basados en los tips presentados en el video “Top
ten Job interview questions”, que se encuentra disponible en: http://www.youtube.com/
watch?v=I2IDGXX5-YY y del cual se suministra adicionalmente la transcripción de los
diálogos en el documento anexo: “script for top ten interview questions”. Para ayudarlo
a desarrollar esta actividad, tenga en cuenta los siguientes pasos: *Escuchar el audio
“Top ten job interview questions”.

De 3.16 minutos de duración. (Al menos 5 veces), preste especial atención a la

pronunciación.

 Buscar el vocabulario desconocido, de acuerdo con el script incorporado.

 Leer el cuestionario que encuentra en el documento de apoyo “Questionnaire
Job Interview”, base para responder las preguntas y elaborar el audio.
 Contestar con oraciones completas las 10 preguntas del cuestionario.
 Enviar a su instructor tanto el documento con las respuestas en inglés así
como el audio.

NEGOTIATION PROCESS INTERVIEW

Dear learner read the following questions, then, give an answer to each one according
to the audio incorporated in the material. After that, send the audio simulating the
interview to your instructor.

Questionnaire:

1. Tell me about yourself.

R//: Auxiliar técnica en ensamble y mantenimiento de equipos de cómputo

egresada del SENA, con capacidad de afrontar retos tecnológicos en el área de
desarrollo de software, telecomunicaciones, sistemas de información
empresarial, sistemas Web y todo lo relacionado con administración y ejecución
de proyectos tecnológicos, en cualquier tipo de organización.

Además aptitudes para montajes de redes de computadores, reparación y

mantenimiento de equipos de cómputo.
 Capacidad para trabajar en equipo o individualmente, excelentes relaciones
interpersonales. Alto grado de responsabilidad y fácil interpretación de las
políticas organizacionales. Ganas de aprender y fácil adaptación, disponibilidad
para viajar si se requiere.

Technical assistant in assembly and maintenance of computer equipment

graduated from SENA with capacity to face technological challenges in
the area of software development, telecommunications, business
information systems , Web systems and everything related to
administration and implementation of technology projects in any type of
organization

In addition to computer networks assemblies , repair and maintenance of

computer equipment .
I also have the Ability to work in a team or individually , excellent
interpersonal relations. High degree of responsibility and easy
interpretation of organizational policies. Desire to learn and easy
adaptation, availability to travel if required.

2. Why should we hire you?

R// Esa es una buena pregunta. La decisión que tienes que tomar es
importante y no sé si puedo darte la respuesta que quieres. Más allá de los
requisitos del puesto, no conozco por dentro la compañía, el estilo de gestión ni
las necesidades de la empresa considerando la situación del mercado, y
tampoco conozco a los demás candidatos para poder comparar. Sólo hay algo
que conozco bien: a mí misma, y estoy segura que podría sobresalir haciendo
este trabajo. Tengo el conocimiento y experiencia para enfrentar el puesto con
confianza y las ganas de superarme en los retos que indudablemente se van a
plantear. Y sobre todo, me apasiona esta profesión y estoy decidida a dar lo
mejor de mí para hacer el mejor trabajo.

English:

That is a good question. The decision you have to make is important and I
do not know if I can give you the answer you want. Beyond the
requirements of the job , I do not know inside the company, management
style and the needs of the company considering the market situation and
 not know the other candidates for comparison. There's just something I
know well myself , and I'm sure I could stand doing this work . I have the
knowledge and experience to address the position with confidence and
desire to beat the challenges that will undoubtedly come up. And above
all, I am passionate about this profession and I am determined to give my
best to do the best job.

3. What is your greatest strength?

R//Mi mayor fortaleza es mi habilidad para mantenerme enfocado en mi trabajo.

No me distraigo fácilmente lo que me permite rendir con un gran nivel de
productividad.

English:

My greatest strength is my ability to stay focused on my work. I'm not

easily distracted allowing me to perform with a high level of productivity

4. What is your greatest weakness?

R//Una de mis debilidades es la falta de documentación en mis proyectos.

English:

One of my weaknesses is the lack of documentation on my projects .

5. Why do you want to work here?

R// Su compañía es conocida por hacer grandes productos que ayudan a las
personas. Además de eso, su empresa está presente en nuestra comunidad y
tiene una componente social que muestra un compromiso con la sociedad.

English:

Your company is known for making great products that help people .
Besides that , your company is present in our community and has a social
component that shows a commitment to society
6. Why did you leave your last job?

R//Ha sido una buenísima experiencia pero ya eran muchos años y era tiempo
de cambiar, sentía que había aprendido todo lo que podía.

English:

It has been a very good experience but were many years and it was time
to change, I felt I had learned all I could.

7. What is your greatest accomplishment?

R// Sacar adelante mi carrera profesional de ingeniería de sistemas.

English:

Move forward with my career as a systems engineer

8. Describe a difficult work situation and what you did to overcome it.

R// Durante el desarrollo de una aplicación, el proyecto se estancó, tomé el

liderazgo del equipo y logramos poner el proyecto en marcha, solucionando los
inconvenientes y resolviendo los problemas dentro de un período muy corto de
tiempo

During the development of an application, the project stalled , took the

leadership of the team and we put the project in motion , solving
Inconveniences and solving problems within a very short period of time

9. Where do you see yourself in five years?

R// Quiero crecer y desarrollar mis habilidades y contribuir al éxito de la

empresa.

English:

I want to grow and develop my skills and contribute to the success of the
company.
