Why Bible
Translation?
We believe that the Bible is
God’s Word to us — something
that everyone should be able to
understand in their own
language. But more than 1,600
languages around the world are
still waiting for a translation
project to begin.

When people finally get the

Bible in their own language,
lives often change in amazing
ways. People are transformed as

Supporting Bible Translation in Papua New Guinea
Financial Update
We have not been completely
transparent with the depth of our
financial needs. Due to an increased
budget, loss of monthly partnerships
and unexpected expenses we have a
significant need to communicate with
you.
Over more than the last six consecutive
months we continue to lack an average
of $1300 in monthly partnerships to our
Wycliffe ministry. As you can imagine
these shortfalls have exceptionally
strained our finances and continue to
negatively affect our family and our
ability to continue to serve in PNG. We
remain humbly before the Lord in prayer
to provide for these urgent needs and
ask you to join us. Please feel free to

Coming “Home”
Our second home assignment begins in June!
“Then one of the teachers of the religious law said to Him,
‘Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.’ But Jesus
replied, ‘Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests,
but the Son of Man has no place even to lay His head.’ ”
Matthew 8:19-20 NLT
Following the Lord’s calling to PNG is the most rewarding and
simultaneously difficult thing we have ever done. Where is home for
the missionary? Beginning in late June we will travel from our
colorful little home here in Ukarumpa to the US for a one year home
assignment. We anticipate, with excitement, a year full of
reconnecting with family and partners.
We have felt the Lord leading us to Lynchburg, Virginia where three
of our four daughters may be living. However, that is all we know.
Please pray with us for God’s clear provision for a home near Liberty
University and a school for Jade. We anticipate many other
substantial needs for our home assignment as well and will
continue to communicate these in the coming months.
We serve a God who sees and knows all and orchestrates all for our
good and His glory. That is why, even with a bit of nervousness, we
cannot wait to watch the next year unfold before us. God has always
faithfully provided and sustained our ministry through the
generosity of His people. As you pray for the needs we have
mentioned, would you please ask the Lord if He's calling you to
invest in our ministry as a financial partner so that we can continue
to minister to the youth at Ukarumpa?
