Distributed Power
JGS 616 DS
PRELIMINARY DATA, dated 2014-04-08
JGS 616 DS
1) At standard reference conditions per ISO 3046-1:2002E, ISO 8665 and ISO 8528-5:2010 and continuous operation
2) Thermal output with tolerance of ±8%
3) New unit, continuous operation (no overload)
4) Fuel consumption based on EN 590 fuel with assumed LHV 42700 kJ/kg, density 830 g/l and tolerance of +5%
5) Only valid for engine and generator; Peripheral equipment is not considered (at p. f. = 0,8)
6) GE Jenbacher reserves the right to change the generator supplier and the generator type
7) According to VDE 0530 REM / IEC 34.1 with relative tolerances
8) Based on 30% gylcol
Standard conditions: Air pressure: 1000 mbar (14.50 psi) or 100 m (328ft) above sea level
Air temperature: 25 °C (77 °F) or 298 K
Relative Humidity: 30%
Definition of output: Net break power that the engine manufacturer declares an engine is capable of delivering continuously,
at stated speed, between the normal maintenance intervals and overhauls as required by the manufacturer.
Power determined under the operating conditions of the manufacturer’s test bench and adjusted to the standard conditions.
Overload: 5% capability according to ICxN 5% (1h in 12h period)
Engine output rating: Installation at an altitude = 0 m and an air intake temperature ≤ 50 °C (T1)
All data are based on engine full load at specified media temperatures and are subject to change.
The technical instruction TA 1100-0110DS "Boundary Conditions for GE Distributed Power Jenbacher diesel engines" must be strictly observed.
