Title
District Level Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation cum
Teachers’ Enhancement Seminar Workshop
Rationale Relative to DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2017 entitled “School
Calendar for School Year 2017-2018”, all schools divisions are
encouraged to conduct an In-Service Training (INSET) activities
from October 23-27, 2017.
This is to ensure that the professional growth and
development of DepEd teaching staff and personnel are
addressed, and to evaluate teachers and their collective
performance as well.
In this connection, Wilfredo D. Rafols Memorial National High
School and Cantiasay National High School of District IV of Surigao
City Division will jointly conduct a week-long INSET activities.

Objectives
Specifically, the activities aim to:
1. enhance the research capacity of the teachers
2. capacitate teachers with lay-outing and designing skills
3. retool teachers in test construction, and teaching strategies
and approaches in contextualizing teaching and learning
process as well as the making of instructional materials
4. evaluate teachers and their collective performance
