Bawang Putih & Bawang Merah

Scene 1

Once upon a time, there was a family consist of a husband, a wife, and their daughter named
Bawang Merah. Bawang Merah was 6 years old. The family was poor and lived in a cramped house. One
day, when the sun hasn’t rise yet, the father went to the work. He ask permission to his wife.

BM’s Dad : “I’m going to work now. Please take care of yourself and our little girl.”

BM’s Mom : “Yes, Honey. Be careful on your way and good luck. I love you.”

When the father reached the end of the alley, suddenly a pedicap with a high speed crashed into
him. Bawang Merah’s father was thrown and he started bleeding.

BM’s Mom : “Oh my God!!!” (run to her husband)

BM’s Dad : “P-please Honey. You have to be happy and take care of our child.”

Scene 2

14 years later, Bawang Merah and her mom moved to a village in Malay Region. They met
Bawang Putih’s father and told him about her previous condition, about anything that happened 14 years
ago. After listening to her story, Bawang Putih’s father felt a pity. So he decided to take her as his wife.

BP’s Dad : “Dear my wife, I have a favor to ask.”

BP’s Mom : “What is it, my dearly husband?”

BP’s Dad : “May I marry her? Because she and her child didn’t have anything left and her husband
has passed away long time ago. We have to help them.”

BP’s Mom : “Oh if that’s the reason, then as your wife, I will always support you, no matter what.”

BP’s Dad : “Thank you my wife. You’re so kind. Please let me introduce you to them. This is my
wife and my daughter, Bawang Putih.”

BM’s Mom : “Hello, this is Bawang Merah and I’m her mom. Nice to meet you.”

BP’s Mom : “Hi. Nice to meet you too. Welcome to our family.”

Some days later, Bawang Putih’s father and Bawang Merah’s mother held a marriage and they
live together in a big house.
 Scene 3

Sound late, Bawang merah’s mom realized that Bawang Putih’s father was a rich man. She told her
daughter about a bad plan to take of his wealth.

One day, BP’s father was sick. And told BP and her mom to come to his room.

BP’s Dad : “I have a limit time now. I would you all of my wealth.”

BP: “Please don’t say that, Dad,”

BP’s Mom: “I want be with you forever, don’t go my Husband,”

BP’s Dad: “It’s okay. Please take care of yourself and our child. And please give my regard to
Bawang Merah and my second wife. I always love you and our child forever. “

And not soon after that, BP’s dad passed away. But, without Bawang Putih and her mother’s
knowing, Bawang Merah and her mom heard their conversation.

Scene 4

BP and her mom sad after her father passed away. With the sadness, BP’s mother went to river.
Suddenly, an accident come. Someone push her into the river. Yeah, she was BM’s mother.

BP’s mom: “Help me! help me!”

BM’s mom: “hahaha! Oh no, our wise woman in our family can’t swim! I don’t have to help you.
Goodbye,”

And BP’s mother died in the river.

Scene 5

After her mother’s death, Bawang Putih was sad and she went to the river to remember her
memories with her mom.

BP: “Mom, please come back to me... I don’t have anyone. Bawang Merah and her mother always
make me sad, but I love them. I don’t know why.”

“mom, I miss you so much...”

Suddenly, a weird fish come up.

Fish: ” Hello my sweetheart...”

BP: “who is that?!”

Fish:”I’m over here...”

 BP:”oh, I think I know this voice... “

“is that you mom?”

Fish:”Yes, baby... God give me another chance of life. So He changed me to a fish.”

BP:”Oh my God! I’m so happy. Thank you God,”

Scene 6

Bawang putih frequently went to river to meet her mom. Bawang Merah and her mom smell
something Fishy. So they decided to follow Bawang putih to the river.

Bawang merah : “ Mom ! Look! Bawang Putih is talking to a fish.”

Bawang Merah’s mom : “What? So her mom turned into a fish! Let’s fry her”

Scene 7

When bawang putih has birthday, bawang merah and her mom give bawang putih fried fish, without
having a doubt, Bawang Putih eat the fish. But, when she finished eating, bawang merah told the truth.

Bawang merah : “ i want to tell u something”

Bawang putih : “What is it ?”

Bawang merah : “surprise! It was your mom ! we fried her. Hahahah”

Bawang putih : “oh no! ( scream and cry and run )

scene 8

BP burying fish and overslept. The morning she saw the grave turned into a big tree and seesaw.

BP : " Oh mom, you turn into a seesaw. "

BP's mother : " Yes honey, it's me. I will cheer you, please play me. "

Scene 9

There was a prince in the jungle searching for something a he heard seesaw voice.

Prince : " What is the sound? i will search it. "

 Bodyguard : " Yes my majesty. Please be careful. "

Finally he found the sound it come from the seesaw. When he want to approach her, accidently he
stepped on branch.

BP : " Who is that? "

Prince : " Emmm.... I am.... "

(BP run)

Prince : " Please wait! "

Prince arrived at random house and met an old woman.

Prince : " Ma'am, I am a prince. Do you see a girl around here? "

BM's mother : " Oh my majesty, it's an honor to meet you. I know her, it is my daughter. "

Prince : " Are you that girl? Who play seesaw? "

BM : " Hmmm.... yes that was me. "

In jungle prince told BM to play seesaw, but the seesaw won’t move.

Prince : " Wait! are you lie to me? "

BM's mom : " Oh no! I'm so sorry. The truth is there was another girl live with us. Her name is
Bawang Putih "

Prince rund and prove the truth. Yes, she is Bawang Putih.

Prince : " It's you. Will you marry me?"

BP : " Yes, but i must know you first. "

And they married and live happily ever after.
