ACT4647: Accounting Software Package

 In studying this course, you are supposed to have your
own flash drive. When you finish studying the Program
in each class, you can save your working file. You can
restore back this file into the Program for your
continuing study. Because computers in this room are
protected by Program Deep Freeze.
 How many program vendors in Thailand market?
There are about 540 program makers in Thailand market.
Because they have to register their program with the
Revenue Department of Thailand before they can use it or
sell it.

 There are 2 versions of CD Organizer accounting software

program. You must check your computer whether it works
with 32 bits or 64 bits operating system.

 CD Organizer version for 32 bits operating system for your

computer using window xp or Window 7 – 32 bits

 CD Organizer version for 64 bits operating system for your

computer using window 7 (64 bits OS) or Window 8.

 How to install the program?

You must check, the ‘ Language for non-unicode Program’
must be in Thai before installing the Program.
When you finish install the Program CD Organizer – 64 bits OS
in your computer, you have to give the license to the Program.
CD Organizer – 32 bits does not require license.

 Start using the CD Organizer accounting software Program?

 User ID and password: cd
This program has three big menus in this program:
1. Main Menu (Insert data menu)
2. Report Menu
3. Implement Menu
There are the Software requirements that the accounting
software Program has to follow. They have to declare themselves
which requirements they are following. These requirements are
stipulated from the Revenue Department of Thailand.

 This program has 3 directories:-

ORG; TEMP; TEST.
 You can create new directories as many as you want for
your new company. For ex., I create the new directory for
ISSORASAK Co., Ltd.

 Company Code: digit or letter or digit+letter just to make

sense.

 If you don’t want to create a new directory for your new

company, you can use directory “TEST”.

 How to protect yourself to work with the right

company all the time. You have to put “1” in the Auto-
column, for that directory.

How to back up your working file after you finish your

work at the end of day/class?
You can back up your working file into hard drive, flash
drive or floppy disk drive just for security purpose.
 Program CD Organizer 64 Bit will create the Zip-file name
“org-data” while CD Organizer 32 Bit will create zip-file

How to restore the backup file from the selected drive back
into the program?
Go to System/Implement Menu -9 Exit – R. Restore data.

After finish restoring back up file, you should go to

Main Menu – 3. Change (select) Company/directory and
press enter on it.
Final lab exam 35% includes:
