CONTENTS . How Energy island could power the future?

The earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs but not every man’s
greed. This is happening in our modern world. We use energy faster than it being
produced. The most utilized sources like coal, oil, natural gases take thousands of

So we must adopt new techniques for energy production which does not

The energy island is an artificial island at sea. It is like a dam or

between 30 & 40 m below the sea level. The major energy source in the island is
through the wind turbine. One of the great uncertainity in this concept is that the

The main energy production in the island is through the wind turbines.
The island is surrounded by these wind turbines. During the o ff time , there will
be surplus of energy. This surplus energy is not wasted and it is used for pumping
out the water from the reservoir to the outside, i.e. the sea. This will increase
storage capability during peak time. So there will be a level difference in the
reservoir and the sea. This level difference will give an head for the production of
energy through hydro turbines. During peak time the water from the outside i.e. Impossible- you might say- but you would wrong. The Dutch architecture
