The Polish Law Collection

version 3.0.1

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

- IBM PC compatible
- pentium 120 MHz (pentium II 300 MHz recommended)
- 64MB RAM (128MB recommended)
- CD drive x8 (x24 recommended)
- pointing device (e.g. mouse)
- MS Windows 95 or newer

HELP:

1. Working with the Table of Contents.

At first, select either "Business Law" or "Tax Law" by choosing

an appropriate volume in the pull-down menu. By clicking on icons [+]
you may expand given text units of the Table of Contents and by
clicking on icons [-] you may collapse the text units. Double-clicking
on an item in the Table of Contents opens the full text of this item.

NOTE: To open a full text of a large Act, a lot of free memory space
is required.
Therefore, it is recommended to open the smallest possible part of
the required text, e.g. a chapter or a section.

2. Printing.

You can print only a single page of the opened text. The program uses
printers installed in your Windows system. Please, note that the print
option does not follow the format used in the text. If you want to print
a part of the text formatted as you see it on the screen (font size,
bold, italic, etc.), please copy the required part of the text into your
favourite editor (e.g. Microsoft Word).

3. Copying.

Please select a part of the text you need to copy with your mouse and then
select 'Copy' command from the 'Edit' menu (or press Ctrl+C on your
keyboard). After the text has been copied you may paste it into your
editor or e-mail it by pressing Ctrl+V (or choosing 'Paste' command
in the editor menu).

NOTE: Copying is limited to 2000 characters. If you want to copy more

text you must repeat the above steps as many times as required.

4. Other issues.

For technical reasons, it is impossible to superscript fonts in this

software. Therefore every occurrence of text printed using superscript
is shown in brackets () and in small font.
Example:
Civil Code, Book One, TITLE III:
"Article 44(1)." is originally printed "Article 441." and the digit 1
is in superscript.
