CONNECTORS OF CONTRAST

 Connectors are words which we use to join/connect ideas together.

 We use connectors of contrast when we want to contrast two pieces of information either in
a single sentence or in two sentences.

 My car constantly needs repairs although it’s new.

EXAMPLES OF CONNECTORS:

 At the beginning of a sentence: however, nevertheless, on the other hand, in contrast.

 Either at the beginning or in the middle: despite, in spite of, although.
 Only in the middle of a sentence: but.

Combine each pair of sentences with the above connectors to form sentences
with contrasting ideas. There is more than one correct answer.
