Abstract
This article exposes a set of ideas published in several occasions through more
than forty years, showing the main characteristics of the notion of structure on
phenomeno-strucutural psychopathology. It starts from its historical conditions
of emergence and original definition, stretching to the contemporary
transformations. The work aims the presentation the influences of this notion,
as well as its originality in psychopathology and clinical psychology, as it
proposes a method and a singular approach to psychic organization and its
disorders. Therefore, the work supports the actuality, specificity and pertinence
of the method, amidst scientific disciplines under the risk of dilution and
absorption, in which the place of man is restricted. This restriction precludes the
establishment of the principles of the procedures that could preserve the notion
of man and take part of his definition and future perspectives.
