For release QS9.03 work has focused on the last library. We 6

have improved the general functionality of the library to en-
sure that it is as user friendly as possible. It is now possible to

9.01 New & Enhanced Functions

NEW facility added for storing & searching lasts # 1998

The new last library functions provides the user with the ability to access all lasts from one
location.

The library provides access to both size &

measurement information & can be config-
ured with user defined search rules

Importing VRML lasts # 1929

A more robust process for importing VRML lasts has been implemented. This provides improved sectioning
to aid the “Autodigitise” conversion process. This makes it easier to import foot casts or full orthopaedic
lasts.

9.02 New & Enhanced Functions

Improved functionality for modifying 3D feather

The 3D feather line adjustment function has been improved
to provide the user with easy access to the “apply” & “blend
distance” commands using the right click button.

Ability to remove last files

from the last library # 2432
Last files can now be removed from
the last library, which was imple-
mented in QS9.01

Improved orientation of browser section pro-

files # 2269
Last cross sections displayed in the browser are now viewed
from the toe, providing better visualisation for the user

Import VRML lasts # 2427

Following call # 1929 an “invert sections” op-
tion has been added to the last generate set-
tings, making the process more robust

Last library search filters and results can be tiled vertically # 2442
Results in the last library search window can now be displayed either horizontally or vertically.

Last images are displayed within

the last library # 2502
A new facility has been added allowing
images to be displayed of lasts stored
within the library.

Images of the last from different view-

points are stored.

The images can be scaled to different

sizes.

Improved 3D feather line modifi-

cation # 2478
Changes have been made to the com-
mand modify 3D feather line to minimise
the distortion to the last patchwork dis-
tribution and create a smoother last.
