Introduction to Pre-Clinical Video Observation Form

Psychology for Educators Video Observation Form


The 10 hours of video observation portion of each of the three courses (30 hours total) are
all found in this single attachment. Submit this attachment with everything completed
through the phrase “End of Observation Form for Psychology for Educators.”

Note: This same form will be submitted for “Classroom Management” and “Diverse and
Exceptional Learners.” Doing so ensures there is no duplication of video observation among
tasks.

Verification Note:
Each video will require approximately 60 minutes toward your 30 hours of observation time
(this includes watching the video, reviewing the associated transcripts and artifacts,
completing the observation form, and writing narrative responses). For each video watched,
enter the following information in the observation table:
 the title and case number of the video
 the date of observation
 the total time spent (i.e., viewing, reading commentaries and material, taking notes,
and completing the observation form)
 the grade and subject of the class observed
 any student demographic information that is available in the teacher commentary
section of ATLAS
 “O” for “observed” or “N” for “not observed” for each cell for each video in the
observation table

You will need to watch 10 different videos for each task, and none of these videos may be
repeated from task to task. Refer to your course of study for instructions on accessing the
video library. As part of each task, you will be required to enter all video observations’ case
numbers.

Observation Form must be completed on each form.

The video observation form portion of each of the three courses are all found in this single attachment. For “Diverse and
Exceptional Learners,” please submit this attachment with everything complete through the phrase “End of Observation Form
for Diverse and Exceptional Learners.”

Note: This includes submitting the already completed and assessed information for “Psychology for Educators.” Doing so
ensures there is no duplication of video observation among tasks.
