It is seen so many years of independence, the fruit of development have

reached the needy people of the society as there are huge problem in the delivery
system with the result even though Government has spent huge sum of the money for
rural development, the expected result could not be achieved because of poverty and
absence of economic freedom they might easily convinced our Indigenous brothers
and sisters mainly affected to the long and historical conflict between the government
and the opposing group, they easily convinced to the false ideology and propaganda of
the opposing group.

Considering the above mentioned aspect, we wish to design and propose a

unique delivery system w/c the individual family could be able to meet the economic
requirement and get economic freedom and pursue higher goals in life especially our
Indigenous brothers and sisters.

Through the growing agribusiness particularly in poultry farm (Duckery) we

are able to come up with an idea to utilize what we have regard in our resources in
agribusiness (Duckery) of making the infamous delicacy (“Balut”) and other Pinoy
favorite, “Itlog na Maalat” and hatching for more production of ducklings for
sustainable program. This will support the highlights the advocacy to have an income
generating fund in order to train the Identified People of North Cotabato of having a
good source of fund through agribusiness. It says “Para maturuan ang mamamayan ng
probinsya ng North Cotabato kung paano mangisda at hindi na lang palagi humingi ng
isda.”

To be sustainable, the Province of North Cotabato livelihood programs through

the initiative of our subordinates and allied people of the Province to have the personal
experience on how to generate fund by their own capabilities and to have opportunity
to develop their personal character in doing agribusiness particular in Duck Raising.

Scope:
I observed that average rural families faces following problems in their day-to-day
life;

 Skill based education and entrepreneurship development

 Good farming practices such as poultry management
 Guidelines for livelihood development

It is not possible to discuss all these problems and simultaneously but we wish to
take up few of these issues and offer various solution under one roof so that as
families improve their economic level they will add on various other tools so that their
life will become less cumbersome and they will have more time for earning
opportunities.

We wish to offer this livelihood project with cost estimates and their advantages.
