FROM THE PULPIT

WELCOME HOME !
Isn’t it good to get home from a long trip? A vacation? A business trip? Visiting family or friends?
As Dorothy states at the end of the Wizard of Oz, “there's’ no place like home”. Sometimes you can
feel like you’re coming home even if you have never been there before! We hope that is what
happens when you visit ST. THOMAS’ EPISCOPAL CHURCH.

St. Thomas’ is a unique church in many ways…

…we have been a part of the Port Clinton community since 1895.
…we have facilities that are varied in age but kept up regularly with pride.
…we are Bible based with Scriptural Bible studies and preaching.
…we are active in the community 365 days of the year.
…we are a vital congregation with members of all ages.
…we offer a variety of worship, activity and ministry programs.
…we have spiritual lay and ordained leaders who care about you.

In a world filled with suffering and frustration, we at St. Thomas’ believe there is hope. It is good hope
because it is God’s hope. At St. Thomas’ you will be presented opportunities to…
…serve and help others
…learn about your faith
…grow spiritually
…participate in the mission of Jesus
…welcome others in Jesus’ name
…worship and commune.

ST. THOMAS’ EPISCOPAL CHURCH is a healthy, vibrant, growing congregation. If you are a member
and have not been at worship lately, September is a good time to come home. If you are not now
involved in a church or looking for a new church home, then, we invite you come and worship again or
for the first time. And WELCOME HOME.
