Milkotester LTD is high-tech Company for production of measuring devices for the dairy
industry, under the trade name MASTER. Milkotester produces series of portable ultrasonic
milk analyzers for fast analysis of FAT, solids-non- fat (SNF), protein, lactose, added water,
freezing point, ph, salts, conductivity, milk sample temperature and density of one of the same
sample directly after milking, in milk collecting centers and during processing. Also,
Milkotester offers thermostatic devices for antibiotic and inhibitor tests.
Ultrasonic technology overcomes some major deficiencies of the Infrared method. Due to the
ultrasonic technology:
1. Milk analyzers measure directly cold milk samples starting from 5°C.
2. No periodical calibration needed
3. Milk analyzers‘ accuracy is independent from the milk acidity
4. Possibility to analyze all types of milk
Thanks to the milk analyzers Master, the milk analyses passed from the laboratories to the
farms, milk collecting centers, and small milk producers. With 12 V power adapters the milk
analyses can be moved in milk collecting vehicle.
Possessing high accuracy and measurement speed, minimal power consumption without usage
of consumables, milk analyzers Master are attractive for the dairy industry, easy to operate,
low cost maintenance and affordable price.
Milk analyzers Master are suitable for usage not only for control in big laboratories. Devices
are appropriate for mini dairies to guarantee the important economical parameters as FAT and
protein, where the accurate results allow fast corrections of the production for optimal end
results. Milk analyzers Master are a solution to analyze the milk composition used in: analysis
of milk for payment in order to ensure equitable payment to dairy farmers, milk
standardization to improve the quality, control process and economy in the dairies, improving
of the milk-giving herd to optimize the practices of feeding and breeding.
4. What are the advantages of milk analyzers Master when compared to other
ultrasonic milk analyzers?
6. In what way milk analyzer Master helps preventing the most frequent
falsifications in milk?
2. Increasing the volume of the milk – adding whey, water, fat detraction or other
liquids.
3. Adding unusual substances (soda bicarbonate , flour or farina) . The aim of this is to
cover the adding of water or to stop turning the milk foxy.
7. What has to be done in case I need to print out the measurement results?
In order to print out the results connect the milk analyzer to the power supply using cables for
12V delivered in the set.
Connect the printer with the milk analyzer using the RS 232 cable which is also in the set and
switch on both devices.
There are three led indicators on the printer. First shows - printer is switched on, second lights
if there is an error, which can be removed by restart of the printer and third - indicating the
quantity of the printer paper.
After each measurement the printer will automatically print the data.
8. Why there are variations in the results, when analyzing water (instead of
milk)
Fat = 0.08%
Fat = 0.03%
Fat = 0.06%
When analyzing water (instead of milk) results for FAT are close to zero, then Freezing point
and Added water are completely wrong , therefore are not shown on the display.
There are variations in the results out of measuring range. We recommend making
assessments with real milk samples only.
9. What is the difference between Master LM2/Master Pro P1 and P2, look
the same in appearance?
Main difference between both models is the cleaning system. LM2 P1 and Master Pro P1 are
with one peristaltic pump for measuring system, while LM2 P2 and Master Pro P2 are with
two peristaltic pumps – one for the measuring system and another for the cleaning system,
allowing P2 to be automatically cleaned without operator intervention.
In normal mode, the analyzer is powered by adapter with 12 V output. If the device is
powered from another source, such as car battery must be ensured correct power supply of the
switching adapter. If any doubts about the proper operation of the device please, check the
power supply with multimeter.
11. The analyzer is switched on, but there is no information on display. How I
can check the condition of the working of the various modules?
There are several possible reasons if there is no information on the display after the
analyzer is switched on:
12. What kind of information should I send in the case of a potential problem
with the analyzer?
In order to receive quick reply from the service center you must send the following
information:
1. Contact person/company name where you have bought the device from. How long
have you used the device?
2. Please mention the model of the device.
3. Serial number.
4. When did you buy the analyzer?
5. How long the device worked properly?
6. Did you calibrate the device or it works with factory calibration?
7. Did you make correction or repairing of the analyzer?
8. Please, describe the problem of the analyzer in detail. If we have not got detailed
information, will be difficult for us to assist you quickly.
9. Description of the problem. Please describe when and how the problem appeared:
1. Immediately after delivery e.g. the problem appeared after you switch the
device on for the first time
2. The analyzer worked properly for a certain time (please, mention the period)
and after that the problem appeared
3. Please mention your options regarding the status of the individual modules in
case of the described above indications.
13. We have problem when we connect the milk analyzer Master to the PC –
what is the reason?
During the producing process the connection between Milk analyzer Master and PC is
mandatory, e.g. operating with the analyzer is not possible without working USB 2.0
connection. Possible causes of communication problems are as follows:
1. Cable used for connection is different from the mentioned cable in the Operation
manual. The operator must use the original cable, supplied from the company
producer. The cable must be connected to the port marked as “PC” at the rear side of
the milk analyzer.
2. The other permanent program is available (or virus) that blocks the connection. Please
ask your system administrator for assistance.
3. It is recommended to connect the USB cable to the milk analyzer before switching the
device on. This avoids interruptions in the connection.
14. The analyzer doesn’t work. On the display appears following message:
Error 10 or Empty Sensor
Error 11
