1.1.1.1.1.1. Talk with endless Travellers.

One day Buddha was travelling from Rajagaha and Nalanda together with his five hundred devotees/
learners/students. At the same time the endless traveller Suppiya was also travelling along the highway
between Rajagaha and Nalanda together with his young followers, among them youth Brahmadatta.

On the way, Suppiya spoke many ways in dispraise ( i.e., in an –ve way) of Buddha, his truths and his
group/company. But Brahmadatta, spoke many ways in praise (+ve way) of Buddha, his truths and his
group/company. These discussions were carried closer to the Buddha and his devotees by making direct
statements with arguments with their opinions.
Same day night Buddha and his devotes also the suppiya and his followers came to Royal-rest House in
Ambalatthika garden to spend/sleep in night because they can’t travel in night times in forest.
In the early morning (i.e., when the sun raises), Buddha devotees was talking about the achievements, power
and perfect knowledge of Buddha. Same time suppiya again started to dispraise Buddha, again debate started
between suppiya and his follower young Brahmadatta.

After sometime Buddha noticed the conversation b/w them, came to the place and sat down in prepared seat
and asked his devotees: “what kind of discussion were you holding just now?”
They all answer to Buddha question and explained the matter which was held before.

Buddha replied: If someone speaks in dispraise of me or in truths or in group/company, we should not show
anger, displeasure or proving wrong something against them in our heart. Suppose if you were become
angry or upset in such situations, you would only be creating an obstacle for yourself. Also, would you be
able to recognise whether there statements or Right or Wrong?

Devotees replied: No lord.

Buddha Answered: if someone dispraise of me, you should explain them what is false by saying for such and
such reasons this is false or this is true.
Also if someone praise of me, you should not show that we have won or showing joy in our heart , just
accept fact as fact and say for such and such a reason this is true.
You should say within the truths which I have thought.
