overview

our ladders / 2018

make me furniture design and make handmade
domestic class library ladders to enable you to access
your home library or tall bookcase storage unit. We
can manufacture static and rolling ladders to specific
dimensions you require from various timbers such as
American White Oak or English Black walnut, be-
cause our ladders are custom made you can choose
whatever timber or finish which suits you best, from
metal plated to sprayed bright pink. Utilising high grade
timber including oak, walnut and ash, a mobile library
ladder can become an addition to your living space
and form a contemporary addition to your existing
furniture.

We can supply traditional designed library ladders or a

bespoke contemporary walk in wardrobe ladder using
materials such as coloured melamine to give a funky
twist – whether you need the ladder to roll on a fixing
rail round a corner or a bespoke foldaway step ladder,
we can help...

As well as modern oak library ladders, we can hand

craft foldaway step stools to enable you to reach those
high up storage areas within the house. Our ladders
are supplied fully assembled direct to your door,
handrails or rear rests are simply fixed using he bolt(s)
provided.

MEZZANINE

• rear top rest design uses our locating pins
to enable removable support, pins are
brushed stainless steel as standard,
alternative finishes also available.
• mezzanine ladders can have cork added
for extra grip and to protect floor surfaces
• utilise our handrail options in a range of
finishes to complement your bespoke
mezzanine ladder.

HOOK-ON

• add hooks to the rear of your custom
kitchen or pantry ladder in either matching
timber or range of metal finishes.
• fixing rails for your rolling library ladder are
in a range of metal finishes and with round
or rectangular fixing brackets.
• use the same bespoke shelving ladder to
reach different shelving units by simply
hooking on and off.
• we can provide a second set of hooks on
the ladder uprights to enable vertical ladder
storage when not in use.

to the top only, top and base or retracting
rolling kits for a stowaway vertical rolling
library ladder.
• single straight run rolling ladders or

• fixing rails in a range of metal finishes and
with round or rectangular fixing brackets
so your library ladder can fix to tallshelving.
• fixing rails are supplied either as flat bar or
round bar, the retracting kit is for round bar
ladders only.

ASH BEECH IROKO MAPLE
The design team at make me furniture have years of
experience in handmade one-off bespoke furniture
pieces – we combine various metals and high grade
timbers and acrylics to make your furniture.

Our designers have years of experience with library

adders as well as designing bespoke furniture pieces
including custom sideboards, dining tables and large
mirrors. We specialise working with timber, metal, CUSTOM SPRAYED
OAK TEAK WALNUT
acrylic and plastics to design bespoke furniture. Use OR STAINED
clear acrylic or Perspex furniture to give your interior
a contemporary look without affecting the colour
scheme, clear plastics nests of tables are ideal as a
coffee table.

We love working with quality materials to create

custom furniture designs – our range has varying lead
times according to quantity, materials and the size of
the pieces.

our ladders / 2018
once you’ve looked through the website and decided
on your specification for your library ladder, bespoke
sideboard, coffee table or any other item get in touch,
if you have photos of the space you are looking to
have your bespoke furniture positioned then email it
over to help us work with you.
If you have specific space requirements for your mez-
zanine or library ladder or any other bespoke furniture
piece then have them to hand as this will make it
easier for us to get you the help you need.
We can also create 3D visuals of your design prior to
ordering and pride ourselves on accurate photo
realistic images.
All orders are provided with a signoff CAD drawing
which we send to you to check against your space
requirements. We can also come out to do site meas-
ures subject to location.
