together existing and new questions and explore what we call migration.

Place it! is a 10-day long youth exchange involving 30 people from 6 countries:
Albania, Greece, Itlay, Scotland (UK), Portugal and Hungary

We built up the program in a way how we process world events.


You will have the chance to see the intervention points and discover your place in it through
diverse and playful activities such as simulation games, community events, group discussions,
debates and a fieldtrip!
We will invite experts on the topic, people personally involved,
you will have the chance to hear personal stories and share yours!

During the days we will follow these steps:

Egyesek Youth Association is one of the leading independent youth NGOs in


Hungary, member of Alliance and CCIVS worldwide networks and International
Synergy Group informal network. Egyesek has 16 years of experience in local-
level, grassroot youth and community work, and in designing, guiding and
organising non-formal learning projects, such as community service, exchanges,
volunteering, internship programs, training courses and workshops.
The program is organized by Anna Dupák, Marietta Balázs and Olsi Dudumi, youth workers of
Egyesek Youth Association.
Anna is an expert in intercultural education and psychology, she has years of experience in
working with youth with fewer opportunities, designing learning activities and volunteer projects.
Marietta is coming from an international relations background and she is working with Egyesek for
3 years as a project coordinator in EVS projects and training courses.
Olsi is a sociologist, from Albania, and he settled in Hungary. In his professional life he is working
on a daily basis with refugees and migrants arriving to Hungary.
We organize this youth exchange to bring together youth from all over Europe, to discuss and
get involved, and to create together positive change together!

The program will be in Hollókő, the countryside of Hungary, 100km from Budapest. The village is
situated in North Hungary and it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The accommodation and the program will be in Creative Space training center. You will be
accomodated in 4-bedded rooms with separate shower and toilet each. The house and the
garden is rented for the time of the program, in order to have it as a home Light housework will
be done by us as well – a daily cleaning, keeping the house tidy, and the cleaning of your own
rooms.

Pillows and blankets will be provided, please bring your own towels!

Amounts given are for return tickets between your place of living and Hollókő. The amount of your
reimbursement will be calculated based on the distance between your legal address and the venue
of the program. The limit can be less then the amounts indicated above but not more.

We reimburse public transport tickets from Budapest only if you provide the used ticket and the invoice.
