became friends. The songs from Oklahoma are popular even today. In fact the show returned to Broadway. The
musical was again a big hit. Audiences packed the theatre once again. The actors for Lea and Idina looked
perfect. They wore costumes identical to the original ones. The audience was as enthusiastic about Oklahoma as
ever.
Lyka looked toward the light switch. Her husband, JP, appeared suddenly. JP appeared sleepy. Lyka felt
weary too. They planned to go hiking over the weekend. Lyka felt for JP’s warm blanket. She pulled it up over her
head. Just then the alarm sounded. An alarm sounds loud at 5:00am. Hurriedly, they looked for their gear. Dan
appeared anxious for the hike that day. Lyka looked in the cupboards for some food. The cereal tasted stale, like
last week’s bread. Shortly, they charged out the door of the house. They both appeared sleepy and stiff at that
early hour.
