The fact that golf is good for your health, won't be doubted by any golfer.
First of all it's a fresh air activity but furthermore the natural beauty
and the particularities of the individual golf courses have a positive
impact on your wellbeing. After a golf round you feel better and more
content – provided the score is more or less satisfactory. And did you
know the Schleswig-Holsteins climate is extraordinarily healthy? The
fresh air from the sea calms our lungs and can significantly improve
allergic and respiratory illnesses. And as a pleasant side effect, our
body's defenses are strengthened.
After some exercise you feel fit as a fiddle and the body releases
endorphins. It's not without reason that the people in Schleswig-Hol-
stein belong to the happiest people in Germany, as a survey made by
Deutsche Post stated for the fifths time in succession.
And can you think of a better reward for a golfer when the work is
done, than a typically Northern German meal? Fresh fish from the
coast, additionally a cool beer (without alcohol), made from barley
grown at Schleswig-Holstein's coast. An also the ever-popular
curry sausage is well sought-after in golf course restaurants.

Golfclub Morsum auf Sylt e.V.
GC Morsum, an 18-hole course, is situated
far from the tourist spots in the island's East.
It is embedded between small water hazards,
large ponds and into the beautiful pastures
of Morsum. It's a myth that this private club
which was founded by Axel Springer in 1964,
is reserved to club members only. Green fee
players with a handicap of at least 34 (at
least 32 during the summer months July/
August), are kindly welcome to book a starting
